With entry-level affordability, the 2011 Acura RDX luxury SUV/crossover fuses the utility of an SUV with the premium elements of a sedan. The 2011 Acura RDX is powered by a 240-horsepower, turbocharged 2.3-liter four-cylinder engine and is mated to a five-speed automatic transmission with manual shift capability. The RDX comes with front-wheel drive, but can be equipped with Acura’s Super Handling AWD, which manages torque distribution to the front and rear wheels and between the left and right rear wheels for enhanced handling and response. Fuel estimates for the 2011 RDX are 17-19 mpg in the city and 22-24 mpg on the highway. Other competitors in the small luxury SUV/crossover class include the Land Rover LR2 and BMW X3.

In tough economic times, choosing the right vehicle has never been more important. Blending a smart balance of sport and utility, the 2011 Acura RDX offers a “right sized” package matched with a turbocharged powertrain and the available sure-footedness of Acura’s acclaimed Super Handling All-Wheel Drive™ – all wrapped in supple luxury.
