Mercedes-Benz has launched its
super luxury car brand Maybach in India today. The carmaker has introduced two versions of the Maybach
limousine; 57S and the extended wheelbase 62. The Maybach 57S comes with a 5980cc V12 petrol engine that will produce 600 plus german thoroughbreds and 1000 Nm of torque to propel it to 275 kph. The Maybach 62 will come with a 5513cc V12 petrol engine that will produce about 543 Bhp of shove and 900 Nm of twist good for a top speed of 250 kph.
The Maybach 57S is powered by a
6.0-litre 630bhp engine while the longer 62 comes with a
5.5-litre 550bhp motor. Both engines are 12-cylinder units and are mated to a five-speed automatic transmission. The base Maybach 57S (if you can call that ‘base’) is priced at
Rs. 4.85 crore while the 62 will set buyers back by a whopping
Rs. 5.1 crore.
