Car news from The Automotive Car - The Mercedes-Benz E 63 AMG 2012. This New Mercedes-Benz cars will be introduced at the New York Auto Show 2011. Basically the 2012 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Coupe is the same as model C63 AMG sedan version.
The Mercedes-Benz E 63 AMG 2012 is equipped with 6.2-liter V8 engine that can generate a power of 451 horsepower. But this engine is also available with an optional package AMG development that produces more power than the standard package that is 481 horsepower. Besides supplied by the powerful engine, transmission of this car is controlled by Speedshift 7-speed gearbox.
Mated to a AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 7-speed sports transmission from the SL63 AMG, the 2012 C63 AMG can go from 0-60 mph in just 4.4 seconds with a top speed of 155 mph. When mated to the AMG Development Package, the 0-60 mph acceleration time drops to 4.3 seconds and top speed is increased to 174 mph.
