Car news from The Automotive Car - The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG 2011 will make its way to dealerships in North America starting this May. According to the PR hanging around the Mercedes-Benz display at the 2010 New York Auto Show, the 2011 SLS AMG will carry a starting price-tag of $183,000 when it goes on sale.

The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG 2011 is a new super sports car from Mercedes-Benz and AMG makes for an alluring proposition with its unrivalled technology package: aluminium spaceframe body with gullwing doors, AMG 6.3-litre V8 front-mid engine developing 420 kW/ 571 hp peak output, 650 Nm of torque and dry sump lubrication, seven-speed dual-clutch transmission in a transaxle configuration.
